I dont know where you guys are getting your tanks but here in NYC a full setup tank is no where near $40 (unless you plan to buy all of the cheaper grade stuff)

Though i might lower it to $50 range..

You won't get very much for it. I am betting you will get $50 or so. I am not sure how much all of the supplies costs, but I do know that a 10 gallon tank is about $9 at WalMart, so somebody could easily get one of those for cheap. You should put a fish in there...then it might be worth it!

I hope you sell it!

You can buy a complete brand new 10 gallon set up with everything you need for $40...... why would someone pay more than that for a USED tank? If you have lots of expensive decorations (prob not since it's only a 10 gallon tank it can't hold any of the big expensive ones...) and a stand for the tank, I can see getting $65 maybe.

Looks like a great kit, but you should lower your price to $50 and settle for $45. I paid $26.99 for a new 10-gallon tank with gravel, filter, starter food, dechlorinator, hood + light, and a couple of plants at Petland Discounts in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I had to buy a separate heater for about $20.

Good luck!

I'd guess $20 is closer to the price you would get and that's really for the supplies. Used 10 gallon tanks don't really have any value.

The market for used 10 gallon tanks isn't all that great. You'll be very lucky to get half of what you are asking.
