"Evolution is a lie of the devil?"
And I just thought it was man actually trying to find out about the world rather then just believing a ridiculous story in some cobbled together, contradictory, and in some part dam right nasty bronze aged book... now I know the truth.....

Did you know that Christians developed the theory of "Intelligent Falling?".

It's Intelligent design applied to gravity.

Hillarious.

The following excerpt is from an article about a debate of Intelligent Falling vs Gravity, held in Kansas . . .

. . . Critics of Intelligent Falling point out that gravity is a provable law based on empirical observations of natural phenomena. Evangelical physicists, however, insist that there is no conflict between Newton's mathematics and Holy Scripture.

"Closed-minded gravitists cannot find a way to make Einstein's general relativity match up with the subatomic quantum world," said Dr. Ellen Carson, a leading Intelligent Falling expert known for her work with the Kansan Youth Ministry. "They've been trying to do it for the better part of a century now, and despite all their empirical observation and carefully compiled data, they still don't know how."

"Traditional scientists admit that they cannot explain how gravitation is supposed to work," Carson said. "What the gravity-agenda scientists need to realize is that 'gravity waves' and 'gravitons' are just secular words for 'God can do whatever He wants.'"

geography: ezekiel 5:5 states that jerusalem is at the centre of the earth. so either the earth is planar (flat) and brisbane and moscow are very close to where the earth ends (and you will drop right over the edge if you catch the orient express) or else the earth is spherical and jerusalem exists somewhere deep in the core (a protestant actually tried to tell me this once).

anthropology: after the flood the earth was repeopled by noah's three sons japhet (europeans), cham (africans), and shem (semites).

so nobody lives in china: it is empty.

biology: if wallabies survived the great flood they must have been on the ark. they would have needed to travel all the way from southern australia to the mediterranean to get there. they would have needed to carry eucalyptus trees on their backs (since eucalyptus leaves are all they eat).

(there is the same migration problem with sloths: but sloths are such quick movers it would have been less of a problem).

Christians don't have problems with scientific theories. They have trials like everyone else; financial crises, raising kids, relational issues, job trials, health issues etc.

A Christian solves his problems with the help of Jesus, family, friends and a joyfull heart. If an electron spins to the left or to the right has very little importans for a Christian. They do not have a problem with science at all.

Why should they have a problem with theories at all? After all they keep changing every decade or so as scientists struggle to understand the incomprehensible that is Gods handiwork.

They cannot even be sure that the measurements they make in this part of the energy gradient of the Universe apply at other places in it.

often, a concept ability a hypothesis, an opinion or a conjecture. besides the shown fact that, in technology, the notice has a various meaning. a medical concept is a framework of interconnected statements that explains the phenomena in the back of stated information. those statements are properly supported by making use of stated information and calculations, and can be examined by making use of making use of experiments. If the belief is falsified, it is, it fails to predict or clarify any new commentary, the belief is changed, or abandoned in desire of a extra effective concept. some examples of theories are the belief of gravitation and the belief of relativity. in this context, the belief of evolution is the framework that explains how species evolve over the years.

They don't reject gravity entirely. Newton observed the falling of an apple, which proves micro-gravity. However macro-gravity is just a theory, it takes less faith to believe that God personally manipulates the movements of larger objects.

They only have problems with the theories that counter their narrow (very narrow) world view. A view that is based off of a bronze age book of mythology.
Pretty sad when you think about it...

Thanks to primoa for proving my point. Can you imagine being that deluded and gullible?

In my opinion I think they have a problem with all forms of science.

Edit:
primoa1970 is a good example of someone who dislikes science and would rather have everyone simply say god did it rather than use scientific methods to do research; but also shows his lack of understanding anything about evolution.

edit2:
Rational thinking, independent thoughts and being a freethinker are a threat to religion and all religions would like to stop people from displaying these traits
