Fruit has sugar. Sugar is fattening. Fruit will not make you slim. Excercise and a sensible diet might.

Grapefruit, and any melon is good. Fruit as a general rule is good to eat 2 - 3 servings of veggies a day. And variety is key. It will keep you interested in good health.
Also, not all fruit is fat free. Avocado has a HUGE amount of fat. However it's great fat. 1/2 an avocado once or twice a week would be fine. Vegetables are also important to good health so try to eat 3 - 4 servings a day. Also, lean proteins, complex carbs, whole grains, low fat dairy or soy are also very important to maintain good health and vitality.
I would also suggest working out most days for at least 30 mins.
Best of luck.

All fruit is 100% healthy and 100% fat free. I like fruit becasue it is nice and sweet. I eat it frequently and shun the artificially flavored junk food to the point that the junk is way too sweet. Bananas and raisins are my favorite as they're the sweetest to me.
I consider fruits and veggies "free foods" and eat as much as I want. Most days I get at least the recommended five servings. Although some days it's only four.

Eat any and all the fruits you want, except for dried fruits. Fruits are low in calories and loaded with nutrients, especially vitamins C and A, fiber, water, potassium and much more, with little or no fats and cholesterol.
Contrary to popular opinion, fruit is a great food for weight loss (with the exception of high-calorie dried fruits like raisins, prunes, dates and figs).
Here are a few examples of the many nutritious and tasty fruits, and their calories per 100 grams:
30 calories/100 grams - watermelon
32 calories/100 grams - strawberries
32 calories/100 grams - grapefruit
34 calories/100 grams - cantaloupes
36 calories/100 grams - honeydew melons
39 calories/100 grams - peaches
43 calories/100 grams - blackberries
44 calories/100 grams - nectarines
46 calories/100 grams - plums

Bran88 and Vegan are right. I used to snack on fruit all the time, and I was the slimmest then. Also, there is no point eating fruit with a burger.
Good luck!
