Have you ever actually studied it? Or, did you take someone elses word on the details? I keep hearing all these ridiculous assertions about Evolution. It seems to me that many who deny it have never even studied it. Personally i tend not to answers questions i know nothing about. So my question is this. If you have not studied on the subject. Are you willing to?

MG- i am quite hairy enough to be the missing link i suppose. Hehe. I have read your Bible quite a bit. I attended Bible studies. I ask those knowledgeable on the Bible questions when they arose. Maybe you are right and i did not study it properly. I sure tried though.

taelec- You seem filled with hostility. Are you saying that you are far too smart to converse with me? I did not ask this question in order sit back and laugh. I asked it because i am interested. I would love to speak with you about how you came to the beliefs you have. I suppose i am unworthy in your mind though. Too bad. You may have had some grain of knowledge for me.

eezy-jex, please do look up what the word Theory means in Scientific study. It appears that you do not know the meaning.

777- yes. Why would i ask this question if i did not have some understanding on the subject myself? Macroevolution refers to species changing into new species over time. Microevolution is changes within species.

By the way 777, you actually pretty much define the two in your own answer.

i have read the origin of the species (shortened name)
looked at research. waited and studied more. IN over 150 yrs of close monitoring and much more beyond that we have never witnessed a change that would be considered evolution.
i compared it with other resourced and it just does not seem viable to me.
i approached the bible with the same objectivity and found it true. I was an atheist and read the bible to prove it wrong but ended up getting saved. Like everything i approach with a clean slate and let the facts determine my results. Not go in with a preconceived idea and find proof to justify it.

If anyone had indisputable "proof" then this dispute would be moot. Yes, back in High school and through out college I looked at both sides, and came to the conclusion that there are too many leaps of faith in the theory of evolution for it to be a plausable theory. I call into question the geological time table and it's dating system. I have no idea how old the planet is, nor at this point do I care, however, there are too many disparity's in the conjecture to explain things away. It is as though evolutionists strive to explain and cling to their lines of thought, just as uninformed Christians do the same with their line of thinking. Example, Bats using radar, Whales and dolphins using sonar.... yet not in the same tax....(not even close). There is no linear progression on it's development, nor any fossil evidence, and in it's absence, tales are made up to "fill in the gaps" which have no logical standing. Evolutionists reach too far yet claim "chance". Sorry, I don't buy it.

I went to school just like you
I have 2 uni degrees not like most
i understand it, thats why i don't agree with it,
the caelocanth for instance remains perfecly unchanged and was presumed to be extinct
If evolution was true, there would be more creatures like us, more apes that can talk, but who we could not reproduce with, as they had a different evolutionary branch
also interesting is how things have somehow stopped evolving now we are actually looking into evolution, or not so much stopped but now take millions and millions of years
put it this way, is canada such a worse off conutry than the U.S. because it has free health care and a lower murder record?
so why does g.w.bush keep insulting cnaada all the time
to make you feel special, so you don't notice the bullshit he's doing to your own country
Dollar is at an all time low, whats the american repsonse?
laugh at canada.....
well done

My BSc (Palaeobiology, UCL) and experience of the folks around me informs me in no uncertain terms that those who deny Evolution as a process taking place both in past and present have no freakin clue how it works.... and more often than not lack a desire to understand it for that matter.
Then again... I suspect even a lot of those who accept it, much as with many other aspects of scientific understanding, don't really get the fine details that justify the process either. Many of them don't even have the necessary logical processing capacity to put the pieces together themselves for that matter.
And that really is the joy of science. The process of determination... or "proof" ... is all there for the viewing if one cares to look, as nobody is convinced of anything in the scientific community unless it can be demonstrated. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and thought to be able to understand the demonstration..... but it all works out quite nicely eventually.

There is a difference between just studying the bible and doing so with an open heart. As for me studying evolution, I have not sat down and conducted an extensive study, no. I don't really care too. I know that this world was created by God.

I'm a Christian who believes the answer lies somewhere between evolution & creationism (or intelligent design). I just don't think that man currently has all the data together to make an irrefutable case for evolution yet and even if he did I would be hard pressed to think, 'well, we know everything about that, no more further study is necessary'.
God has given man both faith AND reason. Anyone who discounts either side is ignorant and does not seek truth.

The first thing I wanted to know was where all the fossils were kept that shows the development from water to land animal. There were none . Not even a single one. There were fossils of amphibians and fosdssils of land animals but none in the centre. As soon as it is found I shall beleive.

So you've studied the bible good for you..
Did you study evolution?
People making posts like this think they are so dang smart thinking "wow I nailed those religious people HAHAHAHAH I's so smrt theys cant fights mes argument"
The fault you have is assuming that people who do not agree with it do not study it. That only makes you an idiot. I'd have an intelligent conversation with you but I'd be the only one speaking with the intelligence.
If you note I never said if I believed evolution or not. I won't tell you either way because like I said it would be impossible to have a conversation with you that would amount to anything.
So sit there and think you have won it will make you feel better. Either way I'll go have my happy successful life.
When you state things such as ridiculous assertions and questioning if people study or not makes you as bad as them that is why its not worth debating with you.
I did gain knowledge from you. I now know that is yet another out there who just can't handle a real disscussion

If its not a chapter in the bible than they probably have not studied it, but just by denying something doesn't mean it is not the truth. . . .evolution is happening in front of our eyes. . . .
