On Saturday night my boyfriend left me with his bestfriend (a guy) while he attended a funeral for another friend.
And I was talking to his bestfriend about what my boyfriend did for his B'Day last year (I didnt know him then) & his bestfriend started telling me that my boyfriend "expected" him to organise something for him & when he didnt then my boyfriend got angry at him.
Later on when my boyfriend & I went home...I told my boyfriend what his bestfriend said about him and he was angry and said his bestfriend always trys to put him down. Then he sms-ed his bestfriend to say he knows what he said to me and is hurt to which his bestfriend said I must have MISUNDERSTOOD him & denied saying that at all and would never want to hurt my boyfriend... so my boyfriend excepted this but when he told me I got angry at him as I felt im being called a liar cause i know what i heard his bestfriend say. So he sms-ed him again demanding truth & his bestfriend is still denying it... what can we do?

Just a note to say:

*My boyfriend has had his bestfriend put him down in front of previous girlfriends and therefore asked him purposely not to do it when he left me alone with him....he still put my boyfriend down.

*My boyfriend asked me if he said anything bad about him.....I wasnt going to lie...

You participated in gossiping about something you had no first hand information about. Let this be a lesson to you about the results of gossiping.

Oh, and by the way, the proper word is accepted, not excepted. A big pet peeve of mine.

Drop it. Your bf probably knows that he is not telling the truth, but does not really care. It would be ridiculous for you to try to continue this argument. You have already told him what was said, now just let them handle it between them. Guys aren't like girls about things like that. Sometimes they would rather just not argue.

Don't get in the middle of these arguments. They'll blow over eventually.

You know what you heard and you told your boyfriend. I'm sure your boyfriend and his friend know what happened and it's all in the past, so just suck it up and forget about it.

Maybe you shouldn't have told him, as it does sound like a bit of a rift between the two now. Best leave it, not something worth fighting over.

Your boyfriend is dumb, his friend is an ass hole, and you got caught in the middle. What you shoulda done was told his friend not to talk about your boyfriend behind his back. Just tell them both that they are dumb and you don't want to talk about this stupid crap anymore.

Its never a good idea to repeat what you hear, especially between friends. Its never usually a good outcome. People get hurt. I hope you've learnt from this.
