The Protestant Reformation grew to become right into a doctrinal revolution. The Anglican insurrection grew to become into an administrative break. The doctrine remained if truth be told intact. For a 2-way style, you may call the C of E "Protestant", yet in actuality, this is greater of a "0.33 way". The oh-so-severe "apostolic succession" of the priesthood might have been preserved in spite of the Anglican break, so the Church of britain gets greater appreciate and attention from Rome than different Protestant denominations do. The "Dissenters" of English history specially protested that the Anglican Church wasn't almost "Protestant" adequate. They grew to alter into the Puritans, Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterians and different congregational churches of britain.

The Anglican Church was created for this purpose. Of more concern is what the Anglican Bishop said a year ago that children born with defects should not be allowed to live.

You are referring to the 7th commandment about not committing adultery which you assume is the usual basis for divorce or is committed by remarrying. You are also assuming that those who agree with divorce are also breaking this commandment. Not that simple when you consider what Jesus said in Matthew 5:32; ' .. but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.'

If Henry VIII were an ordinary American Joe Catholic today there would be no Anglican Church. It's become so easy to obtain decrees of nullity from American ecclesiastical courts.
Quite ironic isn't it?

He created a church to suit his own ends. Another case of church and state looking after their own interests instead of those of God and His flock.
