every morning when I am about to refresh my face I spit blood, it is not red but brownish, I imagine it is blood mixed with saliva. After 2-3 spits the brownish colour disappears and I spit white as usual and I am fine during the day. What is it? it is a sign of cancer? could it be the gums or the stomach? has anyone got the same? I am 54 years old, I do not smoke, I do not drink. Thanks for answers

No, i dont think it is. Maybe your gums are not healthy thats why its easily bleeding. My advice is you consult the doctor to be sure, choose the toothpaste that will make you gums stronger like sensodyne, colgate, close up.

I don't think it is from brushing in the morning because it would creat very fresh red blood.yours is old blood based on the color you described. I think you need to check with your physician first. Then if they refer you to see a dentist,do so. As a dental stand point,One more possibility is that you are grinding and biting your cheeks at nights and it bleeds during the night. Or you could be having some gum problems which may cause bleeding at nights and the blood stays in your mouth.

My boyfriend sometimes has this, although, he used to smoke and he drinks.

It is a sign of an infection. If it is happening every morning then I would go see a dentist. If it is only once in awhile, talk to your doctor at your next checkup. The color is dried blood mixing with your saliva. You could have brushed too hard and broke open the gums or a tooth could be infected.

I would at least call your doctor or dentist about the problem. They normally don't charge for questions.

A hard night of snoring can irritate your throat causing it to bleed a bit and in the morning you will see a little blood in the sink. Smoking, vaping, yelling all day, bad gums, canker sore, many possible answers but if the problem persists, go see a doctor and have them take a look in your throat

Yeap, could be something like a very advanced stage of gum disease. When people spit blood from their lungs, or stomach, they usually cough it up. If it is just there in your mouth when you wake up, its probably something oral. Do go to a doctor and get it checked though, then find a good dentist.

You don't say if you smoke or use tobacco. But any sign of blood in the saliva should be examined by a doctor.

It could be gum disease.
Please see a doctor. Then you will not have to worry.

Wishing you the best.

That happened to me one time and i went to the hospital. it ended up that i was just really dehydrated (with a bad hangover) I threw up sooooo much that night....lots of tequila. It took four days for me to feel better. I would just drink ALOT of water and maybe some chicken broth when ur stomach feels alittle better.
