Almost exactly ten years ago (November 17, 2007) a group of tourists – mostly European, including many Swiss – were attacked by terrorists at the Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Kings, Near Luxor, Egypt. 58 tourists and 4 Egyptians were murdered: the 6 terrorists also died.

Western intelligence sources believe that Al-Gamaa al-Islamiyya (a group seeking to overthrow the secular government of Egypt) was responsible.

But some sources claim that Israel was behind the massacre.

Who really was behind this atrocity?

Ooops! My date should (of course) have read: Nov 17th 1997 (not 2007)!

Considering your 2nd link also attempts to blame Jews/Zionists/Israel (in various formulations) for the Columbine and Red Lake killings, I wouldn't put too much faith into it. Most reputable sources do draw the conclusion that Islamic extremists were responsible.
