I always try to do what I say I am going to do.
When there are teens involved it gets really difficult.
I said I would never let my daughter do this or that and then the situation would arise and I allowed it.
Sometimes what I say I will do takes a long time to get done. Ultimitely I have to make a list and check off things as they are done.
But when it comes to dealing with people it gets more difficult. So you have to watch what you are saying you will do in the first place.
