I can't seem to stop having female problems, LoL.

Anyway, I met this one girl in my one college class and our teacher had this getting to know you think, so I told her, after reading her info, that she seemed like a cute and sweet young girl.

Then she would stare at me all the time, and when I would look at her, she would never smile or anything, just stare.

Then I found out she had a boyfriend, so I figured, wow partner, lay back, this doesn't look good.

So she and I never really talked and she never seemed to really have any interest in talking.

Then eventually after class, I found out she became single again, and she said she had some problems with math, so I figured, well she's single now, so I will ask her if she would like to get together some time and I can help her out.

She ignored me and didn't reply me on MySpace. So I figured oh well. Then suddenly she replied me asking for help with a particular problem and I did, then she didn't talk again.

Yet I ran in to her in school again, and I looked at her going down the steps and I saw her sneaking a smile after I looked at her. It was like one of those "I know you like me" smiles. It was like she was very happy about something. Yet she still doesn't talk to me back online when I try to talk to her since I don't see her anymore in person.

Does she not like me and just is flirting here and there or something? Why does she ignore me, yet smile and look at me all the time, as if she's really curious about me or something?

LoL, that's what I've been doing, writing her on MySpace, and she seems to ignore me sometimes but answer me other times.

She doesn't say anything to getting together but answers me when I say something like, do you still go to the college and stuff like that.

LoL.

She's a bit of a funny one.

It might be that she's trying to figure you out.

It might be that she wants you to make the first move.

So ...

make the first move.

Write to her on MySpace

Say something like

Hi! I've been noticing you a lot recently, especially after you asked for help with that (math) problem.

I really don't know what it is when I get contact from you and then no contact from you. I'd really like to hear from you more often.

If I don't hear from you, I guess I'll have to assume that you don't like me or are trying to mess with me. That'd make me sad, but I can't have that so please ... write to me here on MySpace or call me or something (my number is: 555 xxxxxxx)

And see what she does.

Give it a month.

If she doesn't contact you - she's not interested or she's messing with you. You've made move number 1 and it's a reasonably good invite. See what she wants to do.

She might just be shy. But if she's too shy to contact you after that, maybe you'd better look elsewhere and let her grow up a little.

So stop writing.

Give her a - contact me please note ... and stop writing.

See what she does.

Possibilities are:

She really likes you but...
-is shy
-is trying to work out whether she'll go for you or with someone else she's flirting with
-is worried you're desperate or clingy or a stalker
-only likes you as a friend and wants to use your prodigious maths skills
-hates MySpace because she's constantly bombarded with millions of guys writing and writing to her
-has another boyfriend but it's tenuous

You writing and writing isn't going to tell you which one it is.

Stop - take a breather - take a break. Make up a poem or paint or draw or something. Do more maths.

Have a think about her - what she does - what she likes - what do you know about her.

Wait for a response and try to make sense to what it is she says.

Well she used you to get the math help and if you let her she will do the same thing again. She maybe flirting in a real sly way to keep you interested enough to continue to help her when she wants you to. If you all dont talk about anything else except math then I would take it as she is not interested in anything but math. Move on!!

She might like you or maybe she just likes that you like her. You should try ignoring her then maybe she'll try to talk to you. You know how girls are, they want what they can't have. If she doesn't talk to you then move on.

She's just basking in your adoration, besides, as arbalast so aptly put it: "girls are weirdos".
