1. she has just found out that she may not finish her university degree because she has already failed a subject twice and may not be given another chance
2. she recently met a guy ( on the net) within three days met him, and on the first date itself she lost her virginity to him
3. the sex was un-protected. the guy has had 3 - 4 previous sexual partners
4. she has a lot of issues with her body image (she is a bit overweight).

She's a strong Christian & has always said "no sex before marriage" and now she's just lost her virginity to some pretty much 'unknown' guy.

I don't know what I can do to help her. Please give me your comments.

i dont know what to say to her. shes totally lost it. shes pretty much been kicked outta university and even now all she talks about is the Guy. for gods sake she had sex with him on the 1st date after known him for 2days. i think her self esteem has become so low that shes just become desperate for a guy!

shes now known him for only week & already hes become the center of her world.

she's still not even bloody concerned about her carrer & making a decent life for herself.

i feel like slapping her to wake her up from all this and get back to reality.

She is out of control, and needs to straighten out. You probably can't do it, but if you express your concerns to her parents, perhaps they can reel her back in.

Before you do that, however, try to explain the importance of respecting yourself, and giving yourself every opportunity to make a good life for herself.

I think the best you could do is advice her to try harder in school but if she is already screwed in that area to go to a community college and try hard so she could transfer back, and about the guy you should help her go get tested for aids/herpes and such and then pregnancy...and you know just be there for her and give her good advice
