I've heard of van services which take Greek immigrants from Baltimore's east side to JFK for about $75-100 a person.

US Air will get you from BWI to JFK in 4.5 hours and $233. stopping in Charlotte Without looking it up I'll bet that's much cheaper than a limo-even though the time could be about the same
Edit:
The easiest way to do this with the maximum of comfort and the minimum amount of Mickey Mousing involved is
Amtrak to NYC Penn Station
go downstairs
Take the Long Island Rail Road to Jamaica Station -Its about a 20 minute trip and trains leave about evey 8-10 minutes during the day
When you get to Jamaica
Go upstairs and catch the Airtrain to JFK

A Bus from Baltimore will get yu to the "Port Authority" bus terminal right quick. From the Port Auth. you'll have to take another bus or a cab to the airport.

Or you can take the A train on the subway to the JFK station, the transfer to the "Airtrain" which will take you to whichever terminal you need to go to.

But since you mentioned Bus or Limo, I suggest you take the bus from Port Authority, it's on the ground level on the north side f the Port Auth.

If you want to go direct, I'd suggest hiring a limo. Just tell the limo company and the driver you want to go to JFK. That's the easiest, most convenient way, yet more expensive.

Other than flying between the two cities or renting a car, you will need to change transport in Manhattan.
