I will be teaming up with other makeup and hairstylist for a photoshoot and they wanted to know how much i charge..I actually do a lot of freelancing. So, i don;t know how much it usually runs..can someone let me know? So, i won't be undercharging or overcharging....thanks!

It will probably be an hourly rate. On average, a great hairdresser can make $200 or more per hour. So, this is a pretty good starting point.

Check Craigslist.org, sometimes they are listed for hire, there. You could use these listings for make up artists and hairdressers as a guideline.

It varies from person to person, depending on how much in-demand the hairdresser is, what city the shoot is in (it will be more expensive in cities like L.A. or N.Y.) If the shoot is for celebrities, you will charge a bit more. But, honestly, if it will be an entire day, you need to replace the income you would have had on a full day. The same would be true for a half-day, if you will be returning to work.

most stylists charge per look not for a shoot. but look at their prices for weddings, it should be somewhat similar....
