Like the chemicals and stuff?
I'm pretty good at photography but I want to try developing on my own.

Here's a good place to get materials at a good price. Most photographers and students in NY shop there. They sell used things too. You will definitely want to get a used enlarger unless you have lots of cash to spend.

http://www.adorama.com or http://www.freestylephoto.biz/ I have ordered from both and personally I like fresstyle better so far, though I havn't received my package yet (but it's only been a day or 2). But so far, they are way better than adorama, but adorama's pretty good too. And if needed you could always use ebay or craigslist.
