I think that if Jimmy Swaggart asked for forgiveness that he will be saved.
God is a forgiving God, but people shouldn't keep sinning beleiving that they can simply pray again and again for forgivness.
Sexual sin is one of the stongest weapons the enemy has against Gods people, and the troops at the front line are the most targeted.

Only God judges man -- man does not judge himself less he miss something -- that is why St. Paul himself refused to judge himself. One is =ultimately= saved if one is in heaven itself. We all hope to persevere in the grace of Christ less we fall. In short, only God knows if Jimmy will be ultimately saved.

Well that is Baptist dogma, but many other religions have said that salvation is a gift and as gift go you can always give them back. I would say from his actions he only felt bad because he was caught in his sex scandle and if he were never exposed he still would be searching out prostitutes. Just like Ted Haggard.

If a person, after learning the accurate knowledge of bible truth, continues WILLFULLY sinning, then there is not longer sacrifice left from the Lamb to cover for this person's sin.

What is your understanding of "saved". And you are not "saved" just because you prayed a prayer once.

Only God knows if his name is written in the book of life. We can guess and talk about it but only God is a righteous judge and knows what is in his heart
