The top two qualities they look for are cocky self-confidence and good sense of humor. These qualities probably come with a degree of intelligence otherwise it is just difficult to be very funny or confident.
As you get to know a girl, they appreciate respect and sensitivity. Girls also like specific compliments, not too personal, they want to know that you noticed and took an interest. Remember that anyone will forget what you said and did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

- confidence
- decisiveness (take charge of a situation without being pushy or aggressive)
- a sense of style
- comfortable in your own skin (no "airs")
- receptive to their feelings (ask questions...always)
- I agree with goals which is tied to resources, financial success, etc.
- playfulness...have a sense of fun and adventure
...and never, never be needy. In my experience women want men who want them but not men who need them. It's the difference between a good relationship and suffocation.
Don't get down if it doesn't work with the dream girl. There has to be that elusive chemistry on both sides and it sometimes takes meeting a lot of people for that "magic" to happen.
Good luck!
