Be well prepared.
Try practicing with your tounge hanging out. Don't bite it! This will help with anunciation, and in turn help your muscles develope. I used this technique for my French. It makes the face muscles work harder.
Have something to hold, like a stress ball or play-doh. And squeeze it if you have trouble. It might help your mind release nervous energy in your hand instead of your face.
Focus on one person, preferably the teacher, or a friend. This isn't the best way to speak, but if it helps.
Have some bottled water. If you need to pause, go for a sip of water. This will hopefully help your throught relax, and also seem like a natural pause and not an uncomfortable moment.
Also have a display or prop for the audience. It will give them something else to look at and may help you feel overwhelmed.
Sometimes I stutter so I twitch my leg (not extremely, just enough). For some reason the (at least my) brain has trouble twitching and stuttering at the same time.
Good luck!

You are probably aware of any techniques that help you control your stutter. One thing you can do is to practice your speech and note any words or passages that cause problems. By focusing on them and practicing, or changing the words, you may be able to avoid stuttering. Humming before speaking also loosens the vocal cords.
Something else to try is just to pause when you think you will stumble over a word. Substitute another word rather than the one you had planned to use. I beleive this technique has been used by others. It causes a hesitation in the speech, but works to some degree.

Try using an almost singing voice. Stutterers often stutter when they're talking, but not when they're singing. Practice singing before you go on. Then try giving a practice round with the presentation. Your mind will still be trained on the act of singing and speaking will be less difficult.

Do you stutter when you read aloud? I read a long time ago that people who stutter do so because of the nervousness (or something to that effect) that they have when speaking from the top of their head. I could be very, very wrong here, but I'm thinking that's what I read.
Can you do your presentation while reading from index cards or something?
Try it out by reading to someone you trust and see if it helps you not to stutter.
Good Luck either way!

you stutter? stutter because your nervous or is that a speech impediment?
if its a speech impediment, then read it aloud over and over and over and over again to yourself, or better yet in front of somebody you know. This will give you the response practice you need. And if its a nervous issue, then try the same thing, all this could help.... deep breaths, your right, dont always work.....
practice makes perfect.

Many stutterers find that "singing" (using a sing-song or chant-type voice) their words can reduce stuttering. I don't know if you can learn to do this in one week (for your presentation) but it may help in the long run.
Best of luck.

Do something that hobbies you!!!!! you should discover subjects which you hit upon unique. i will inform you from journey that scholars who're attracted to their subjects supply lots greater acceptable shows that scholars who supply a presentation on something they could care much less approximately. think of on the subject of the flaws you like... track? dancing? movies? television exhibits? What are the flaws that fascinate you?? as quickly as you establish the flaws that interest you, you are able to slender it down right into a greater particular class. i be attentive to that when pupils like their subject, they "get into" their presentation greater. the different pupils have a good time with the shows greater with the aid of fact they're greater thrilling.
