I still need to think of something for my husband. He has gotten back into bike riding lately so possibly something bike related. He also broke his laminator last night, I told him at last I know what to get him.

I love the habenero idea. That is just great!

Three sons in their 20s get drill and bit sets (boring and useful)

Three Daughter- in-laws and niece get robes/slippers

Brother gets a peepot and Christmas tp (gag gift) and a camo jacket for a nice gift

Grandbaby has 3 outfits, some toys and a "dress up box" full of hats, faux fur, wedding veil, etc

Mother in Law and Sister in Law get some quilts I found in an antique shop last summer.

Hubby gets a new projection TV. Teen Daughter gets clothes, makeup, some computer games, and some jewelry.

Haven't found anything for the others yet.

Good question. I try to give my kids one thing they really want, then of course thy get the required gifts (clothes, socks, undies) For my oldest I still have no idea what he wants so I haven't bought for him. But my daughter wants the Hannah Montana dance board thing that plugs into the tv. My youngest wants the Thomas the tank engine toots and sounds sofa (he is 3 and loves thomas, plus he is asperger's syndrome so he already knows everything about thomas and all his friends on Sodor) I am thinking that this year we may do something charitable, like make lap blankets for nursing homes and vetern's hospitals. And go on Christmas Eve to hand them out. I don't have alot of money this year to buy a bunch of things so our tree may be a little bare underneath this year. So I figured if I took this opportunity to show my kids christmas is also about giving then maybe they won't feel so bad that they didn't get a whole bunch of things. Not that my kids (except my oldest) is old enough to realize they didn't get alot, but I do try to give them 6 toys each at christmas including their "big" gift (the gift that costs the most)This year it may be alot less. Thank god for Dollar General and Family Dollar!

Yes, that way, we can build up a bank of useful ideas, a kind of ready reference bank! Very good idea!
