Deities either have to "Evolve" or the religion dies. Look at all the Gods pre dating Christianity, as time passed the idea of God/Gods changes over and over again in many different cultures. I am talking of course in the literary sense, God is not real.

Is that all you read about in the bible? None of God's goodness? If it weren't for God, you wouldn't be here. And if it weren't for Jesus, You couldn't be saved. When you experience the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, You will never face such wonderfull bliss at any other time in your life. Yes bad things happened in the old testament bad to us. But a teaching tool to the world. To every bad thing is a good thing. Sometimes hard to see.

Evolution requires many generations. Since God has no children that is impossible.
Think about it. You were born as a human. You die as a human. Basically unchanged except for age.

It's frankly astonishing, isn't it? The sheer number of Christians who apparently fail to notice this.

In most cases I would answer a reasonable question but in this case I wouldn't want to take advantage of your diminished capacity.

I have to answer "NO."
Only living things have the ability to evolve. The idea of God has undergone changes but it isn't correct to think of that as evolution.
Of the change in idea: God was once though to be real... and that thought has and is changing remarkably today.

Answer: No; that does not apply to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

I believe he did. Or maybe it was part of the human evolution, and the path he wanted us to take. God in the old testament was like a teenager, with rage and anger, then he matured. Maybe He matured, or maybe it was part of the maturation process of humankind.

Yes, all gods evolved out of human imagination as an explanation for what is/was inexplicable.
