That depends on the guy. He might not be into young girls exactly but there are exceptions when you like someone so much that you dont care what their age is. It is possible that he relates only to that special 18 year old, not every 18 year old. The age difference might raise a few eyebrows but some people look younger for their age so there is no foolproof way of telling whta the age difference is unless you tell them. My fiancee is like two years older than me but she is so small and cute that many have criticized me for dating a teenager altho I myself look younger for my age. hehe!

It doesn't mean he's "into" young girls. It means there is something WRONG with him. Older men who chase after young girls, I believe, have serious relationship issues. Mostly, I believe that they cannot relate to women of their own age. They don't have the mentality for it. Or they are men who like control - and usually, younger women are more easily influenced - therefore, the men can control them. People change the most from the age of 21-25. That is when they mature the most and figure out who they REALLY are inside and what they want to do with their lives. An 18 year old girl is still trying to figure out what true love really IS. If this is YOU going out with this guy - I HIGHLY reccomend breaking it off. No matter HOW sweet or nice or kind he may seem - somewhere deep inside, he has issues with women and eventually it will come out - in a bad way. I really believe that. Good luck!

yes it is an exaggerated age difference because the younger age is only 18 years old. But if the younger age was 26 and the the guy was 8 years older the age difference wouldn't be so big because an 18 year old hasn't had time to live and experience on her own with her own peers yet.

It means he is pitiful. By no means am I saying that you are a bad person or ugly or anything like that. If a 26 year old guy can't find anybody his own age it just shows that he has to go for girls who are still very impressionable. I am 24 years old and I would not consider going out with any girl younger then 21. Just think when he was just turning 21 you were still probably in middle school...creepy.

It's fine for a 26 year old to be into 18 year olds. Both are legal. The 26 year old is probably not the maturest of the bunch and that's why he chooses younger girls. But it's fine and it's not a big deal. Age is just a number.

At that age yes......once the 18 year old is in late 20's an 8 year difference isn't so bad. But 18 is young...you haven't lived long enough to even begin to know what life is about and the stages of life.

maybe, or those two just hit it off, they just happen to have an age difference.
i know people who've gone out with 17 yearolds and they're 24. But they've also gone out with 20-somethings too.
Relationships should be concerned more about chemsitry, not age (unless it's something ridiculous like a 45 yearold with a 21 yearold or a 28 yearold with a 14 yearold.. that's sketchy.)

It doesn't mean he's into "young girls", but it might mean he's either kind of immature or she's mature beyond her years. There's a big difference in life experience from 18 to 26.

It just means that the guy likes them young and fresh. As long as he doesn't like any girl younger than 18, it shouldn't really matter how old the girl is.

Honestly I think it depends on the guy. In general, I don't think its such a bad thing, unless he's only interested in younger girls, but if its just this one girl, then that just means there is chemistry between them. I'd be careful, as he is much older, but in general I dont think theres much wrong with it.
