I am attending a wedding next weekend and I need help finding a nice wedding present.
The couple does not have their own home, I believe they are living with parents, so household items are out.
I'm on a budget and was thinking of getting some nice picture frames from Walmart for their wedding pictures. What else could I get that is nice and has thought put into it?
Thanks?

The wedding seems to have been a last minute thing...so they do not have a registry.

Buy them a Clock, and on the card you can write "take the time each and every day to say I Love You, and to remember why you should."

If you have a decent camera, I agree about taking a lot of pictures and having them developed and put in an album. You could just give them a card at the wedding and write in it that their gift will be coming. We did that for an anniversary, and they said it was the nicest present they got.

If you are certain that they are not going to strike out on their own, I recommend checking wedding registries at Bed Bath & Beyond, Target and Wal*Mart.
If they are not registered, I recommend a gift card. Honestly, when I first got married I appreciated these cards because I was able to buy toilet paper, toothpaste and Febreze which would not have made very nice wedding presents, but there were what we needed.

For my girlfriend's wedding I snapped tons of pictures at the wedding and then got them 1 hour developed. I gave them an album full of their wedding pictures the very next day. They were so excited to already have photos. They took the album on their honeymoon. They loved it.

I know some people feel that giving money is tacky, but it's a great idea. If you don't like the idea of giving money, what about a gift card to somewhere they shop? That way if you're unsure about what they want, they can pick something nice together.

I got a picture from with our names and wedding date engraved in it....i like it just fine.

However, the best present we got was from the best man. It was a backpack full of food, water, eating utensils, plates, cups, etc. It was nice because when you're done with the wedding and you're off to the hotel...you're tired and HUNGRY. We ate everything in the bag, and I had to take it away from my husband before he ate the bag itself. :)

Or how about a nice bottle of wine and some glasses?

nowadays you can never go wrong with money. weddings cost an insane amount right now, and while yes, money doesn't have alot of thought put into it, they will definitely appreciate it.

In addtion to the frames maybe an album?
