I'm writing a nasty letter to this jerk that my friend just broke up with. Unfortunately I'm not the best at insults. I just need a few witty/good ones to get me started. If it helps, he was really selfish and callous.

...If it makes any difference my friend is the one making me do this!

Your friend isn't "making" you, you are doing it because you want to and you want to be a good friend. Don't bother writing the letter, I'm guessing you are no older than 18, and a guy that age will not be offended by the letter, he will only laugh and be more of a jerk because you and your friend still care enough about him to write the letter in the first place. Best thing to do is to completely ignore him, never bring him up in conversation, and no matter what he says/does to "get your goat" just keep acting as if he doesn't exist.

If you're still hell bent on writing this "nasty" letter, the best thing you can do is call him out on things you know he's insecure about, and exploit them to the fullest extent.

EDIT: Sorry Peter, I'm going to have to go with Tone on this one.

Caution here. Make sure it does not end up in the wrong hands! Do not put in anything you do not wish to read about elsewhere in 20 years.

What are some of his personality traits? I"m a whiz at these things, because I can usually spot his weakness, but I don't know anything about him. Here's few tips.
1. Most guys have immense egos because they are shallow. Keep it on his level.
2. escalate by tweaking his ego shortfalls..If he is vain about his physique, mention how his pects are lopsided or his calves are too small in proportion, or his hair has a cowlick EVERYONE has noticed! Maybe his clothes are a bit too avant garde! mention how the girls were looking at him and wondering what on EARTh he thought he was wearing, and they were embarrassed to be seen talking to him!
3. Mention that most of the girls or guys think he has been a complete jerk. Then get the girls/guys to shun him for one whole day.
4. Get into his psyche by saying something about how he behaves this way to cover up some really deep feelings of insecurity or inadequacy. Only someone suffering from deep personal inadequacies would do ------, everyone with even basic psycology knows this!

I am not good on insults either because I usually think what will I get out of it when I do it and what will it make me more like? Even if she is your friend, it's none of your business. I don't mean to offend you but you wouldn't want the same thing happening to you, right?

just call him an American, that should do the trick, it works over here in Europe, Hello Tone, I would just bet you weigh a svelte, 600lbs with your head in a burger, face full of zits and wear a shell suit, am I right? or just average American at 400 lbs. and live in a trailer park, har de har har har, Vous ne devez pas insulter vraiment le français qui vous n'êtes pas bon assez de dans l'un et l'autre votre langue ou le nôtre

Just call him a whiny Euro girl-man p*ssy.

Or just call him French, since all Europeans might as well be French anyways. That'll f*ck him up.

Leave it alone. There's no need for you to get yourself involved. Trying to get revenge on him won't help your friend feel any better.
