Hi,
The answer is hell. All go to the grave upon death for hell is the grave, or pit. See the original Hebrew word 'Sheol' translated into English as 'hell, grave or pit' All go to the grave, some to await the first resurrection at Christs coming and the rest to be included at the second resurrection at the end of Christs 1000 year reign. Your reply from 'big guy526 gives the state of the dead.
Look at Hebrews 11:39 and then read the chapter for context. All those chosen are kept in death, (In the new testament they are said to be asleep in Christ) until He returns to set up His kingdom and the dead are raised immortal. This signifies that we are now mortal and will become immortal.
Trust this is of help.
Robert.

It depends if a believer or not.
Children under age of 15 lunars years will go to Heaven, after the Day of Judgement.
But before the Day of Judgement, ordinary people do not go in Heaven nor Hell. At the grounding, they go back to their body. After the decomposition of their body, they are taken by two anglels (or one??) to an intermediary step, depending if they were believer or not, and depending if there were good or not, in one of the 7 earths or in one of the 7 skies.
For the non-believers, there is torture..... And time seems like never pass.....

It depends on where you're at when you die. If you are in hell when you die, then you remain in hell. If you are in the real heaven when you die, then you'll be delivered into hell.
Once a person takes the last breathe, that's when the soul departs from the body. Likewise at birth. When a baby is born, that's when the soul enters the body.

For me, I believe that a person can go to either Heaven or Hell. I would rather believe that I can live an eternity with the Heavenly father than to disbelieve in God and when I die, find out the God does exist and I will never get to spend eternity with him.

incredibly, many Christians, and certanly those of till now cases believed that when one died, they stayed lifeless till the Rapture, the 2d comming of Jesus. at that factor, the righteous lifeless will upward push from their graves and circulate to heaven, and not in the past. i understand there are nonetheless some Christian denominations who carry to this ideology. consequently, RIP is a comforting term, hoping the lifeless could have a restful close eye till the 2d comming.

I guess it would depend on your beliefs, I think we all go before our maker and there we will be judged on our action in life. So who's to say what will happen? The question is: have you been a good person or an evil one?

What do you believe in? If you believe in God, then your going to heaven. If you don't, your going to hell. There is no RIP, only for atheists, and they still seem to end up in hell. If you have any further questions email me at igor_underpaid@sbcglobal.net
