oxidation will occur, but it won't make you sick.
The wine will taste very flat and dull because the flavor components have evaporated or oxidized.

Sounds like the makings of red wine or white wine vinegar to me! I never let my bottle go for more than one day! If I buy it one day if I am not drinking it the next day I am throwing it out. It won't harm you but the taste is going to be gross! Drink it all by the second day or throw it out.

you won't get sick. it's not going to be very good - but you won't get sick. anything that's fallen in the bottle (bugs, bacteria, dust) will not harm you simply because of the alcohol level. The more oxygen that reaches it, the more the malolactic acid in the wine will react and make it taste more like vinegar or rubbing alcohol - but it will not harm you.

you could say that your bottle was very well decanted...
you should be okay, although you know it probably isnt the best method for open bottle storage. i've left a bottle or two open for a couple of days out on the counter and drank the rest no problem. i think you should be okay if you tasted it and didnt detect anything odd like you said.

You haven't said if it is a red or white, the range of a temperatures it has endured and if you have drunk it you may be kneeling at the white throne or sitting on it or wishing you could do both at the same time

exposure to air causes wine to undergo reactions. you might not get sick, but if you're not enjoying the taste of it, why drink it?

It may, something might've crawled in it or even dust or dirt particles could have gotten in it, not to mention it would be disgustingly flat.

Won't hurt you, or make you sick, but won't taste too good.

If it tastes OK, and nothing has crawled in, drink it!
