The number 666 comes directly from the worship practices of the city of Babylon about the time of the Bible prophet Daniel. The people of Babylon worshiped gods that were associated with the sun, moon, visible planets of our solar system, and certain of the stars involved with the practice of astrology. The Babylonians were the principle developers of astrology, as we know it today. In their worship system, they had 37 supreme gods, and one of these, the god associated with the sun, was supreme over all the other gods. These people believed that numbers in some way had power over the gods they worshiped. However, they had to create numbers that they could assign to the gods so that they could have power over them. To do this, they counted their gods and assigned a count number to each of the 36 lesser supreme gods, and then added up all of these numbers (from one to 36) and assigned the sum to the sun god. The first god they counted got the number one assigned to it, and the second god they counted got the number two assigned to it, and so on up to all 36 lesser supreme gods. Now, if you have not guessed it by now, the sum of the numbers from one to 36 totals 666, which they assigned to the god associated with the sun.

Who assumes that?
It's actually numbers that has to do with the people. Each of the people is marked by 666. It's strange how people had not known that.
There's actually supposed to be 6666, but God held back one 6 and had given each only 666. Since no man has 6666, that's the reason no man is perfect.
The restoring of the mind has to do with restoring that fourth 6. The bible says that the 666 is the mark of the beast, well, the beast is the people (men).
The 666 is the blue print of each person. Those 666's has a lot to do with how each of the people live their lives.
If you knew how to properly map out those 666's, then you could have a far better understanding about your own life.
Each 6 represents certain individuals.
Anyway, 666 isn't the devil's number. 666 is men's number.

If you add up the sixes it comes to the number 9. 6+6+6 = 18. Round that down to 1+8=9 and it is the number of the humanitarian. The number that if read inverted becomes 999 which when added up 9+9+9 still comes up with = 27 ... again the number 9 is reached, numerologically speaking. It is a universal number that pertains to the humanitarian. The one who takes no side but that of who is able to see all sides of any situation. If you are looking for some biblical significance to the mythology of Satanic rule, give it up. It was a poor attempt to sway the Christians over. One of control and fear. No more. Just a reminder that while the Bible was supposedly inspired by God, men wrote the text. And I think we know what man is all about.

The idea of the Triple God/dess has existed well before the beginnings of Christianity. The Christian God also holds the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Ghost/Spirit, mirroring a religious aspect that dates well into the beginnings of solidified Pantheons.

The Christian God is said to create the world in 6 days on the 7th he rests. On the six day is the creation of man.

"And God went on to say: 'Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.' And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him; male and female he created them."-Genesis 1:26, 27."

So we can see how the number of man is 6, being created on the Sixth day.

The Devil/Satan is label through history as the God of Flesh or something very similar depending on who/where you hear it. The God of Flesh is therefore also the God of Man, not of Christian man but of everyother man. Because the Devil is a "God" his number holds the Trinity aspect... being the Trinity God of Man, and Man's number being 6... the Devil's number becomes 666!

In Numerology, the number 6 is one of the most harmonius of numbers. First a brief background must be explained. The number 1 is a male number, both because of its phallic symbol and embodiment of masculine attributes such as physical and mental activity, and creative power. The number 2 is a feminine number, the II symbolic of the vaginal passage, and embodying feministic properties; accepeting, yielding, warm. The number 3 is another male number. Rotating it on it's side symbolizes the male reproductive testies and it is also 1 (male) + 2 (female) making it the number of Offspring.

Background infomation done, mathematically 6 is both 2 (Female) times 3 (Male) and 1 (Male) + 2 (Female) + 3 (Offspring), making it extremely balanced and hence symbolic of harmonious sexual union. The upward (male) and downward (female) triangels superimpose to form the 6-pointed star. It also very much mirroring a woman's pregnant expanding womb. It is both a female number and 2 x 3 and therefore represents the nurturing side of womanhood -- the stable, safe, warm, domestic aspect of motherhood.

Because it is portrayed as such a female number, celebrating the beauty of motherhood and sexuality, it was shunned by the original Church. It was greatly in their favor to layer 6 with negative connotations, thus diminishing the popular practice of numerology and marking mothers with 6 of some item for good luck. (i.e. 6 flowers or a necklace with 6 beads.)

From here, a propaganda was built around this number and it is said to be an evil omen or some other such nonsense. In any case, whether you believe it is evil or not... that is the origin of the Number of the Beast. Oddly enough, more people avoid the number 13 than 666. Multiple hotels remove room number 13 from every floor but room number 666 will remain. Curious...

Very simple:

Look carefully at the actual text and you will note that John did not write “666 (“six hundred threescore and six”) is the mark of the beast, nor did he say “666” is the number of the beast. He specifically and purposefully wrote that the number “666 corresponded to” the “number of the beast which is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred threescore and six.” Neither did John say: “..is the number of man (as in ‘mankind’),” but he specifically wrote: “…is the number of a man,” meaning a particular man.

That particular man to whom John was pointing those “who hath understanding,” is Solomon. “His number” corresponds to “money” as in the amount of “gold” he received in a one-year period:

“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold.” (I Kings 10:14)

“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;” (II Chronicles 9:13)

Here John capitalized on the metaphors, symbolism, and figurative expressions borrowed from the Old Testament. He knew that only those who are wise and have a proper understanding of truth would be able to make the connection between the riddle he gives here and the reality of what the “number of the beast” is.

The number '666' refers to nothing more or less than MONEY!

The book at the site below proves this fact, leaving absolutely no doubt what John meant by using the infamous number,

"Six hundred threescore and six."

The number 7 in the Bible signifies completion and perfection. So, the number 6 would fall short of that perfection. To repeat the number 6 three times, it stresses Satan's imperfection and how he fell short of God's requirements. That gives you 666.

Interestingly enough, in the original texts, it was 626!

What is the significance...?

Emporer Nero's full name and title, in the original Latin, came out to 626 numerologically speaking. However, when the text was translated from its original language into the Greek, the name and title, in Greek numerology, summed to 666.

This might seem a small detail, but it all but proves the preterist view point correct.

The number 666 was previously thought to have been the Number of the Beast, so people once thought that the year 666 was to be the year of the advent of the Antichrist.
