Why would I want to 'make' someone believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior? That's not possible - only God can do that. All we are is to plant the seed and pray for the person to come to the foot of the cross. We are to come alongside them, encourage them, and be the most Christlike example we can be to them. Make them? We're not fascists, here, are we?

It is the Holy Spirit that gives a person the power to believe in Jesus Christ. Pray for them to hear him.
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Well, I think the brainwashing starts at birth. Get them while their young and they will be too scared to have a mind of their own. Fortunately not everyone will conform. The bottom line...you can't make anyone believe if they don't want to.

If they cannot take God at His word, there is nothing I can do for them. No man can make another believe in Jesus as Savior,only God can do that in a persons heart.

"Make someone believe?" A person has to decide for themselves what they believe or do not believe in. Some people you could sit down and talk and talk and talk, you'll never "make" them believe in anything. Especially if you kept harping on the "hell and damnation", some people find it hard to accept, that a "loving" god, would ever do that.
Short of holdng a gun to my head, you couldn't make me believe in anything.

You cant. We cant save anybody by getting them to believe in Jesus. Its only our job as believers to trust in God and our job to plant the seed and the Holy spirits work in their heart to produce the seed. It is only God who gives life to His children that trust in His Son.

You cannot "make" anyone believe in Christ. If Christ has chosen to save someone, He will draw His sheep to Him and they will repent and believe.

That is not possible. Someone who does not have the Spirit of God will never believe.
It won't do any good to try.
Just be kind to others, and maybe one day they will believe. If they do not, that is their choice.
