To those who don't believe in dancing, and say the Bible is their only reference for living?

How do you reconcile these with your belief?

Exodus 15:20
Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing.

1 Samuel 18:6-7:
6 When the men were returning home after David had killed the Philistine, the women came out from all the towns of Israel to meet King Saul with singing and dancing, with joyful songs and with tambourines and lutes. 7 As they danced, they sang:
"Saul has slain his thousands,
and David his tens of thousands."

2 Samuel 6:16:
16 As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart.

Psalm 30:11:
11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy

Psalm 150:4:
4 praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,

That is a teaching of a denomination that doesn't teach the whole word of God. I know I'm going to be dancin' when I get to Heaven!!

I believe in dancing. Not so much in grinding my backside into a stranger at a club, but I dance...

There is a difference. The "no dancing" thing came about in very small, conservative towns back in the 20s, 30s, and 40s and kind of stayed. That "evil" new music, you know... They went a bit overboard with it, but most people just now make the differentiation between dancing and practically having sex on the dance floor.

And yes, I believe the Bible is my reference for how I live.

If you are dancing unto the Lord ,there is no wrong.I would say if you are dancing at a club,listening to un -Godly music ,you are dancing for only one reason .....SELF!!!! owww that hurts uh?? I used to love 2 stepping and playing guitar in Clubs, but since Jesus found me,that has all changed

I wonder how people reconcile several things from the bible. When was the last time someone in US saw someone being stoned for adultery? Actually, when I first wrote this it said when was the last time you saw someone stoned....It was probably last weekend. LOL)
