My two 19 year old friends are getting married the day after Thanksgiving. They don't have a house together and the groom is in the military so they hardly get to see each other. I have no idea what to get them as a gift. Any ideas?

Ask yourself several things. Will she be moving somewhere with him (like across country) after the wedding. Will they be getting a house together soon. Do they have a registry. If they do have a registry I would say get them something off of that, if not get them a gift card to where they are registered. If not, then you can never go wrong with money. I would say definately do a gift card or money if they are moving, but if they will be starting a home together soon, go for something off their registry for their home.

I got married at 19 when I was in the military, and divorced 4 years later. So a hand shake and a good luck will do. Cause once that boy goes over seas, they will need all the luck they could get.

American Express gift card which does not expire and they can buy things when he gets out of the military. You can purchase American Express gift cards at Washington Mutual Bank or call American Express direct.

A monetary gift is always good which is money.Or a nice gift certificate to thier favorite store or resturant.

How about a calling card? That way they can keep in touch with each other.. I know it doesn't sound weddingish enough.. But whats more romantic then them being able to speak to each other.
