I know that they switch from cops to fire fighters, but when they are working as firefighters, do they work a 3/4 or 4/6 or etc. How does their days off and days on work. Thanks

A firefighter works on a 24 hour and 7 day a week schedule. Thus, he can be assigned on any of the shift as required by the station.
