ok. Try this.....place Daisy's cage on the floor near where you keep her. Leave the door open. She will come back to where her food and water are. Her cage is where her home/nest is. She knows that. She is probably hiding in a very warm cosy place. Somewhere where she can get to food and water--probably the kitchen behind the stove or under the fridge.

Mine got out and we couldn't find her for 4 days. Finally rented a no kill trap and caught her. She had been hiding in my bedroom in my drawer. The next time she got out, we just put her cage in the kitchen and the next morning she was all snuggly in her cage sound to sleep. She was hiding in the laundry room. Little snot. :-P

Good luck.

Leave her cage open (on the floor) and put plenty of food in the cage for her, maybe even a piece or two just outside of the cage door. Then sit or lay down quietly until she comes out to find the food. If you stay still and quite long enough you may even hear her moving around.

turn of all the lights Hamsters like the dark, first make all the food impossable to get, then use a plastic trash can or slippry edged box, but food in the tub/can/box and just go to sleep, Dont worry Daisy is proably fine.

That's sad! Try putting the cage on the floor with some fresh food inside. Maybe she will find her way back to it. Start looking from the room she stayed in and expand your search from there...good luck hope you find her!

Put her favorite food out, so she can smell it. Grab her as soon as she goes to the food and leave the door of her cage CLOSED so you don't have this problem again!
