The Bhut Jolokia registers 1,001,304 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Just to compare the jalapeno weighs in at 10,000 SHU's.

Miami Lili has it correct. and Scotch Bonnett peppers are hotter than habanero peppers so are peri peri (birds eye) peppers from Africa. Making me drool for some hot sauce! yum!

Not even close, it is the Dragon's Tongue out of Thailand. The capsican level is high enough to cause a heart attack and respiratory problems. Often this one is grown for use in manufacturing tear gas.
