We all know that the earth is coming to an end with all the pollution and natural catastrophies.

We also know that there is a possiblity that humans might have to evacuate to Mars or some other planet.

If one day it is announced all over the world that humans must immediatly evacuate in a spaceship to Mars since earth is going to blow up in 5 days, would you Christians choose to
stay on earth to wait for Jesus for another 5 days or hop on the ship for safety?

If you choose to leave earth then there goes the whole prophecy about Jesus' second coming Oo

This is not just a hypothetical question. Sure it won't happen anytime soon but for the future Chirstian generations it will happen.

If you happen to be in that generation as a Christian what would you do?

What if you choose to stay and earth actually blows up without any Jesus coming?

Then Mars would be free from Christianity I suppose.

That would not be a nice way to end your cult.

So would you choose to stay on earth and risk being blown up or abbandon your faith and flee to Mars?

Fleeing means that you lost your faith.

Staying means you still got faith.

Being blown up when earth explodes means your were wrong all along.

This will happen in the future.

That is how Christianity will end up.

Jesus will come back to EARTH, not MARS; if you wondered.

Dumb question.

I'm nopt religeous in the slightest, and I also enjoy winding up bilble bashers, but I think your question has far too many holes in it.

You're asking if, between a choice of being destroyed because you believe in a diety or fleeing because you don't, which would the religeous choose?

I dunno if you know anything about religeon, but the whole point of it is that you receive the benifits AFTER you die, so there really isn't a choice (to the religeous).

If somebody flees (as per your question) then, they didn't really have faith, and if they stay, that means they had faith regardless of whather or not Jesus (or whatever) turned up to save them.

The point is, regardless of whether or not Jesus (or whoever) turns up, you didn't give the respondents a choice. You asked:

a) do you run away and prove that you didn't really believe in God

or

b) do you stay and wait for a God that isn't going to turn up?

Admittedly, I am an atheist, but I still respect people that have the strength of character to believe in something other-worldly. In you original question, you didn't even hint at the possibility that they could stay in the doomed future AND be rescued by some God or other.

I don't buy it myself, but this is what some people base their entier lives on, and I think it's pretty shoddy to make fun of an entire belief system just because (presumably) you're either bored or so arrogant that you think you know all the answers.

Great question dude! But id have to say though, that
Mars would still have Christianity there. I mean the people that stayed on earth would be dead and all but i figure a televangelist or somebody with a bible, would get on board the spaceship and carry the message of Jesus to the next planet.

You couldent get rid of Christianiy if you tried. People are going to beleve in something regardless. Pagans back in the day tried to whipe out Christians and Christians tried to whipeout Pagans too, and fact is BOTH are still alive and kicking.

i replaced into baptised an Orthodox, i do no longer probably have self belief in those form of, yet in accordance to the denomination: a million: The physique disintegrates, the soul maintains to exist till the suitable Judgment. 2+3.: Christ will come to earth returned. 4: The lifeless gets up from their tombs (that's why Orthodox is against cremation) and Jesus will decide them. 5: i assume right here: God, Christ, Maria, saints, angels and each and all of the forged those that have been chosen after the suitable Judgment.

1st of all, man will likely never make it to Mars (I hope I'm wrong about that, but that's what I think). Secondly, I have enough faith in the Word of God to believe that the world won't blow up until Jesus comes back, and then it won't realy blow up, there will just be a ton of bloodshed and nature itself will be rent. Jesus is going to reign here for 1,000 years. That is something that I DO know. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble. I hope this helps

You need to understand wht it teaches in the bible. The coming of Jesus Christ for the judgement of sinners will not be known to anybody else. No one know when will it be but it is nearing since the signs are not appearing.
What you are stating are all imposiible and never to happend that way. Read and understand the bible please.

Just one question: how does humanity leaving Earth prevent Jesus from returning?

Well, all right, I have other questions, but that's the pressing one.

Edit: Sorry - please forgive my dumb question. How do you know Jesus will come back to Earth and not Mars?

I am sorry you don't understand the bible, or Christ, lol, or who created the universes.
I am thinking that the creator of all, far beyond what pitiful little bit we know through all of mankinds thousands of years of "knowledge", universe after universe, with the intention of filling those universes with life for all of eternity, probably can handle it, roflol, just ain't really a prob ;-)
blessings,

Even if your scenario did occur, it is not going to occur in my lifetime, my child's lifetime, or my future granchildrens' lifetime, as we are so far away from being able to live on Mars.

I would stay on earth.
