Nation. How is that so? You tell me?
For example: their anti-war and anti-Government consistently and incessantly are not helping in building up a strong Nation but on the contrary destroying her as the "fifth column"
Imagine the great disappointment and disgust that the young proud Americans who volunteer to defend their Nation; going to wars and what they sincerely believed as protecting their families and Nation; upholding freedom, and peace and equality for all men, to come home and be attacked by these leftist with rotten tomatoes and vicious verbal attacks from the mass media ? Worse than that, even when they are in the foreign lands helping to set the natives free from their tyrannical rules, their morale are being wounded by the same liberal back home, singing the enemy's tune and kissing the bully's boots while undermining the good works of the troops oversea and the people back home.
What a sorry sight these Democrats and Liberal portrays to the world watching. True?

St aliao, you are just one of the many "goons" who choose to believe in the mad women - who got to be the House Speakers by calling a good man trying to do his best for His Country a "Terrorist" If I am George Bush , I will take her to task. His mistake for not doing that has been a believer out of you and many and to the downfall of your Country in due time. Trust me. Outside Looking In!

bookish, it's easy to be an "armchair" critic but it's a different game altogether if you are a soldier in the theatre of war and experiencing traumatic situations daily and to come home and received more hurts, rejection and condemnation from your own people for what you honestly and truly stand for.
And you "liberal minded thinking people ; especially the religious Christianity if you don't mind are most guilty of.
Isn't that true Atheist, Liberal and religious people?

I think you, who preaches "peace and no wars" are the most hypocritical and self delusion people and wicked too if you care to wake up and take a hard look at yourselves and see what great damages you have done to your soldiers in the field as well as all those who come home broken and damaged by the traumas they have seen in the field and to be further bruised by you "damned lot"
Pardon for the strong words, anything less is just not getting thru.
Just outside looking in, I can see more objectively than your Fox News.
Do you believe me?

Peter D, did you interviewed the War Veterans from all the Wars that they fought including this one in Iraq?
PTSD - Post traumatic stress disorder causes more suicides than more than you can realized.
Why don't you do so research and post it here for all to see?

Dissent is patriotic. The invasion of Iraq created greater danger for this country, not less. The soldiers in Iraq are mostly well-intentioned, but they're fighting so Halliburton can get richer and Blackwater can get ready for an American coup. Nothing done in Iraq will strengthen or protect this country in any way, but it may drive the country into bankruptcy if the Chinese decide to call in all the loans Bush took from them.

Is that you Mr. Vice President?
True? No false, as in false premise. You are operating under a number of them here.
1.) Anti-war is bad. No it isn't. I have never been in support of the Iraq war and am under no obligation to change my mind.
2.) Protesting the government is unpatriotic. No it isn't. Being a sap to your particular bully boy is. I bet you weren't very supportive of the Clinton administration were you?
3.) Refusing to approve of an unsupported war is destructive. It isn't, except to the mission of the war makers.
4.) American militart personnel are wholly disgusted by the lack of support for the war. For obvious reasons they aren't allowed to act any differently. They are also being deprived of the whole picture and are rather conservative on the whole themselves.
5.) Serving in the military in Iraq is in the interest of protecting US families and the country. This is wrong. The war in Iraq is not a war of defense. It is a political war.
6.) The military is in Iraq to uphold freedom, peace and equality. That may be a byproduct or the action, but that was neither the motivation to begin nor the reason to be there currently.
7.) Military men are being degraded and insulted upon their return to the US. You have the wrong war here. You are a liar.
8.) US citizens have no right to refuse to support a war they do not approve of. If morale is to be blamed on a lack of support of the war, move one more step back and blame the people who created the war that so few are in support of. They are the ones to blame for the low morale--to say nothing of the presence--of the troops who have low morale.
9.) People in the US are "singing the enemy's tune". If there is anyone doing this they are in a very, very small minority. That or you are lying (again).
10.) Dems and Libs are at fault for everything. Keep up with the polarization. Reduce your world to black and white. See yourself as the perennial victim and as one of the few gifted enough to be aware of the injustices of the world. No one group has done more to damage the image of the US than the group currently in office.
EDIT: "No vested interest...non-partisan" Mmmhmm.

That is the biggest bunch of BS, I have heard today. You have to be a Republican! They are the only ones stupid enough to not only say this tripe, but to believe it.
The war is illegal! bush has done more to tear down this nation, than liberals have. Imagine the stunned disbelief of our soldiers to know that there are Idiot like you, making a joke of their sacrifice. and where have they been attacked, when coming home? Proof, moron.
Media supports the war.And the troops know THEY are supported. It is Bush that is not supported.
And you can not hate a whole religion ( Muslim, or Islam) simply because of the radicals who take things into their own hands.
What a sorry group Republican neocons are, and it is shameful for how they embarrass this country! TRUE?

Jeez, I wish we were the "majority." Theists make up about 96% of Americans, so no way the atheists are the majority there. You've had that bonehead in the White House for 7 years now. What more do you want? The war was started on lies, and fine young Americans continue to die for those lies. I'm proud to be against that; I care more about our soldiers than you do, clearly, because I want them out of there. Nothing is worse for troop morale than watching their friends die for a mistake. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Even George W. Blockhead admits that now. They had no WMDs. Saddam is dead. So WHY are we there? How does that protect our country? You've been brainwashed by Fox News. You don't even know what the word "liberal" means. Go look it up; you might be surprised.

Since 68% of Americans want the Iraq war to end I guess in your mind at least the biggest majority of Americans are liberal. Why is it so hard for some to understand that being anti war does not equate with anti troops?

No one I know of has attacked any of our troops. However, we do have people like you and our illustrious president who attempts to hide behind our troops to cover up a war that was started based on misinformation and out right lies. You really need to come up for air sometime.

Aren't you just the cheery one?
Anti-war...let's see...a republican moron got us into a war by lying and only was interested because it lined his own pockets and made daddy's name all better.
Anti-government...you really think people should support this idiot?
I support our troops and the decent politicians.
The rest of your rant is similar to our president. You fill in the blank.
By the way, you are a self-proclaimed non-american, so I wonder where you are getting your news?

wow ur confused im im not even going to finish reading your question... Repuclicans(conservatives) are anti government this is not an opinion it is fact. You are likely liberal and dont realize it... by the way I am moderatly conservative... I suggest you learn to determine your political ideolgy but in general, liberals want more government (democracts, socialists, comunists these are dif levels) and conservatives want less government (republicans, capitalists, libertarians)

Actually, christians are the ones who are guilty of undermining their own nation. Using their imaginary creature as a reason to start a war isn't very flattering. Wasting of national resources for a war monger isn't very constructive as well.
