This is an easyone, i dont have a calculator with me to do this problem.

Using a calculator, approximate each root to the nearest thousandth.
cubed root of -83.

to get the answer on a calculator that doesn't have the square root button you:
divide 100% by -83

square root of -83
equals
square root of 83 x square root of -1

square root of 83=9.11
square root of -1= i




9.11i






oops, you said CUBED root.
oh well.
there's the square root.
