Is it really wierd to date someone that is almost three years younger than me when we are this age? We like eachother alot, but I don't know if people will think that I am a perv or anything. And I want to do what's right for both of us, and I don't want any broken hearts. What do most people think of relationships at this age, with this age difference?

Three years doesn't matter. But, at the age you guys are at now, it surely does. She's young. Borderline illegal. And she's probably sensitive, as teenage girls are. That's a rollercoaster you don't want to get on. She might seem mature, but teenagers don't really know what they want yet. They are still learning themselves, and at this age, she's about to head off to college, and then she'll go through a completely different life change. I say back off, remain friends, don't lead her on. Find someone your own age, or a little closer.

It depends on the statutory laws where you live. In many places, seventeen is acceptable as long as you are not more than 4-5 years in age. In some places seventeen is age of concent. In some places like my home state of Tennessee, eighteen is the abolute cutoff unless you are in a legal marriage. It doesn't matter if you are 18 and she is 17.
Check with your local laws concerning age of consent.

It's illegal, but if her parents are okay with it then it's fine. I am not sure if the relationship would work or not. There are a lot of differences between age 17 and 20, especially differences in maturity.

actually in most states its ok but id ask someone the laws on that in your state otherwise i dont see anything wrong with it its a acceptable age differance and she is nearly 18 so yeah

She is still a minor, by law. You should not be dating a minor, you could be considered to be a child molester or pedophile.
Wait until she is an adult, and then it would be fine for the two of you to date.
