I gather nobody knows. It used to be very big, with bookstores everywhere. Crystal had some kind of special meaning; Shirley McClaine was a famous adherent. So...what happened to it?

New Age is still around. I think that term has become somewhat antiquated as New Agers have moved on to more descript terms and/or adhered to specific systems of thought to which they more passionately identify. It is currently an ambiguous term in my opinion.

Now that people feel at liberty to say "hey I'm this or that" an ambiguous term like New Age is not as important as it was many years ago.

new agers finally admitted that they're pagan. new age stores are now called metaphysical shops, and they're still there. crystals are still very popular tools. the only difference is that now, people aren't afraid to come out and say they love mother nature.

It is still around, what the devil started, it will only be destroyed at the Second Advent of Christ.

If there is followers for Star Wars, yoga, meditation centres, chi, ...... etc...........you know that New Agers are still around....
