I have a 2002 Dodge Ram SLT, it was running good until I had my brother change the the oil, spark plugs, spark wires and now it is misfiring or something. It keeps jerking and will not stop. It starts misfiring when I step on the gas and sometimes the engine shakes. Can someone please tell me what the hell is wrong with my truck before I put him in a coffin!!! Please, Thank You :-)

And please,
I really need someone that knows, to answer this question. Please do not reply with a "I don't Know" or "Don't Know" answers.. I need to get this fix A.S.A.P.
Thanks

take all the plugs back out and make sure the gaps are not shut. other than that, make sure of your firing order. it sounds like you have a crossed wire. 5 and 7 are easy to mess up. firing order is 18436572.

You might check that the wires are in the right firing order, check your firing order on the cap, and then to the plugs. for some reason Dodge work best on Champion plugs too.

there's several things that could have happened while he was working on it,for one he might could have got a plug not gaped right or broke one putting it in ,or cracked the insulation on the outer part of it ,he could have also had a problem with one of the coils getting it back on right, you,ll have to find the cylinders its missing on and pull the plugs back out and check them, also make sure he didn't mess the wires up that connect to the coils,i think you,ll find your problem in the plugs on that one, also make sure everything is hooked back up right, its possible he left something off or loose, good luck with it.
