Yes it does.
I doubt that Pakistan has a 'football' as such - I would guess their launch system, since they have only a handfull of warheads, is less complex - probably simply a verbal system.

One of the President's military aides is always nearby with the magic briefcase or football. It has gotten steadily bigger over the years. It contains plans for optional responses designed with certain scenarios in mind,a method for the President to communicate by satellite with various military commanders and units, and the codes needed to give authorization for release and use of nuclear weapons.Never believe the lie that the US will never strike first with nuclear weapons. The entire US command and control system relating to nuclear weapons is designed to strike first, based upon intelligence of an impending attack.Regarding the second part of your question, the US is known to share command and control systems and methods with both allies and potential enemies. The thought is if everyone's command and control is as good as that of the US,the chance for accidental use is minimal or zero.Pakistan's leader has made some interesting statements recently about his nuclear weapons. It doesn't take a genius to read between the lines and see the US has given him his command and control system for nuclear weapons.Likely,he has a football briefcase somewhere within easy reach.

Yes we still have the football. And yes it is still kept within reach of the president.
I do not wan to know how Pakistan's Nuclear weapon system is set up, because If I know then too many undesirables would know.
I actually wish the general public didn't know about the football.
Of course most can only guess what is actually inside that famous briefcase.
