One of the reason why younger women fall for a mature guy is beacuse they felt secure emotionally, physically and maybe financially. Others are looking for big brother or father image specially if they were sperated for their father (death, separation of parents) or "unica hija" (only child) and or dont have a brother. Next thing to consider is her personality, life style and standard of living. This is where economic benifits angle be considered as one of the reasons.

yes they can genuinely fall for an older guy and i suspect the number of ladies (of any age) that go for a guy for economic benefit only is very small
