do they sell any kind of corner covers for aluminum filing cabinets, i ask this because my cabinet has a sharp edge, and i have gotten cut,

besides office supply there are plastic corner covers / protectors made to "baby-proof" homes. You will find them in the infant or hardware sections of stores. Safety 1st is one brand who makes them.

Most office supply stores will have something of this sort. An alternative would be a piece of self-stick felt, or foam, which you can find at any craft place, in many colors.
