helpful in a sense that they won't live in fear? what do you think?

they might not live in fear..but they do live with a sense of entitlement and superiority

I dont care if theyre fearful..that'll keep 'em away from me

If people read the bible, there is no mention of the rapture. If they are referring to Christians going to meet God, well, sorry, that's supposed to be on the last day. You know? Judgment Day? Read it again. It doesn't happen before the tribulation, so all of you that have those stickers on your cars that say "watch for runaway car during rapture", you can take them off.

Edit: I believe my own way, not any church's way.

I would think that if one had persuaded oneself that the world is going to end, and end soon, in a gruesome and horrifying manner, the idea of an escape hatch would lessen the anxiety somewhat.

It is in a sense helpful but then for some people it might still add fear b/c maybe some family members aren't saved and they might worry about them staying behind.
