On the side of the road across the street i see a sign with a cracked heart on it. what dos that mean?

its a blue sign with a read cracked heart and on top of the heart it says D.R.L or something like that. i want to know hwat it means because there is one across the street from me. my math teacher told me that it means someone died there in a car accident but i dont know if that is true or not. place answer my question i seriously need help!

It is probably not an official sign.

Someone likely put it up to memorialize someone getting killed in a traffic incident.

Maybe its an AED machine there for emergency use?
