Mine is 74 VW green with Corvette yellow accent.
The 60-67 VW green was not a very nice a shade of green

The color for a bug doesnt matter, they are ugly no matter what you do to them. The best bug ive ever seen was crushed at a junkyard, and this from someone who drives mostly only dubs, or VW for those not in the know.

There is no color thats ugly on a bug! I love my car...and I have not seen an ugly color! Everyone has their own taste...so its a personal prefrence. Yellow is awesome. I have a Lime Green Buh...Love it!

ORANGE!!! Disgusting colour and it would just ruin a perfectly good bug. My bug is a beautiful purple. Cadbury wrapper purple. Sweet.

The things are so ugly that the color makes little difference to me. Even a cool color looks ugly on those things. Best improvement would be to paint it black and park it in a dark corner somewhere.
