i have a 7 week old male kitten and a 1yr old female cat
well sometimes she will tackle him, ive seen her tackle him once and they both rolled three times. ok well, sometimes she will tackle him and other times she will play with him.
when she tackles him is she really mad at him, hes usually not doing anything to bother her, normally just playing by his self. and her ears arent back or anything and she isnt growling
she just wags her tail very quickly

well here a video of them playing

when she attacks him, is that her way of being hormonal?

my cats tussle and play all the time. as long as no blood is drawn and there is not a large amount of growling, hissing, and spitting it is juts playing. Just wait until he gets bigger for some crazy antics. my housecats sound like a herd of elephants everymorning as they run and play through the house (and on my bed) and there's only two of them causing all the racket!

it sounds like she is playing with the kitten, and she plays rough because she doesn't know how to play nice. after watching the video i am sure they are playing now. and they like to play hide and seek !! its cute
