I only have the cubes and threw out the package they came in. How do I turn this into broth properly? Can I use this as a substitute?

Yes, a cube is the amount for a cup of water. It can be substituted for the broth . If you are using a lot of broth it might be more flavorful to add an extra bullion cube to increase the flavor when you dissolve them before adding to the recipe.

I cube to every 6 to 8 ounces of water (depending on how strong a flavor you like) as a substitute for canned broth.

You can use 1 bullion cube to a cup of hot water. The water has to be hot to melt the cube.

Yes, (1) cube for every cup of water. I put it in a coffee cup and put it in the microwave for a couple of minute and then take it out and stir it. Then you can add it to your recipe like chicken broth.
Good Luck

I dont think the answer is so much CAN you, cause obviously you can, but do you want to? It might be worth a shot, but I cant think of any recipes I know of where cream of chicken could be substituted for chicken broth, as they arent even close to the same thing.

one bullion cube with one cup hot water will make one cup broth. if you are going to be heating after you put them in what you are cooking no the water does not have to be hot.
