No in muslim everyday of life haircuts is not haram(prohibited). It is halal (allowed),but on the special occasion e.g during the haj pilgrim or umrah(small haj pilgrim) proccesion haircuts is not allowed or haram. We can have a haircuts and nail cuts if we have finished the haj pilgrim proccesing (after thawaf and sa'i).In line with hadith muslim men are suggested (not a must )to maintain well their beards and we are better to eliminate our moustache.Maintaining the beard means we can shave the side of our beards for good looking

They are not haram

They should not resemble a particular person (immoral), or imitate females.

Males must have a beard. Prophet Muammad said "grow your beards and trim your mustaches."

Its obligatory for all muslim males to grow their beards.
