I love stir-fried zucchini and onions! Just stir-fry in a little oil.

This isn't necessarily a side dish (well, in a way it is), but slice up some pickles - either sweet or sour - to serve with your fried rice. What the pickles do is clean your palate so the next bite of your fried rice will taste as good as the first bite. Believe me, it works.

Since fried rice is a side dish you should probably have a vegetable like steamed broccoli or french cut style string-beans.

Crab rangoon. It's like a fried and delicious cheesey ravioli-so obviously Americanized Chinese-but what do we love more than deep fried fat?

Isn't fried rice a side dish itself?? Maybe you can serve chicken and broccoli with it.
