Go ask your parents or some other adult that you trust. This is no time to be shy, although I can understand your embarrassment. Don't learn about sex ed from your friends from the internet. Trust me, they don't know it all and the info you are getting may not be correct. Alternately, approach a sex-ed teacher at your school. Alternately, go to the library and borrow some books. Lastly, whilst you are studying this, you should also read about sexually transmitted diseases and learn about the various contraception methods. OR go ask your Doctor!

I think you should consider taking a sex ed. class.
Only because the internet & your friends aren't always right.
(( Neither are sex ed., classes, but they make more sense usually. ))
It'll be beneficial to know all the things about STDs and pregnancy risks.

Now that you're 18 (and presumably out of high school), why don't you take a sex ed class down at your local community college?

Most important is you learn all the dangers if you don't have safe sex! Please be smart and talk to an adult, like a teacher or someone. And be aware that the first time is no fun at all! Lots of pain!

Please use Google or Yahoo search to answer this question. There are soooooo many different ways/answers, it would be very difficult to get a good answer here from a bunch of different people. Especially considering that you don't know anything at all about sex. Just search around for your answer. Hope that helps.

find someone who cares for you and you care for --- let the relationship develop --- maybe get married or not --- let nature take its course and always have protected sex (unless you really want to get pregnant) ----- best wishes
