No, don't do it. Even if he is claiming "forever" guys don't typically mean it, or think they do and then find another "forever." I would wait til I was married until I permanently scarred my body with a guys initials.. even then I wouldn't. Look at all the celebrities that have to get their tat's redone just to not be "claimed" anymore.. Johhy Depp, Angelina Jolie just to name two off the top of my mind. Everyone I know who has done this has regretted it.

Get it on the small of your back. You know, that area right there between your butt and a few inches below your braline? Guys think tattoos back there are wonderfully sexy, especially if you have a toned backside. Make sure to get a "universal tattoo" that you don't get tired of and you can wear with any outfit. Don't get his initials, because if things don't work out (not saying that they won't but just in case) you're gonna have his branding on the back of you!

You should not get his name or initials on your body. It is almost guaranteeing that you 2 will break up. 90% of all the cover ups I see have been because someone got their boyfriend's name tattooed on them. Why not pick something that reminds you of him. I am a married woman, and I love my husband more than anything, but I will not get his name tattooed on me.

Never get a tattoo of a person's name or initials, unless they are family - that is a sure way to guarantee a break up.

Getting a tattoo is not a bad thing. I personally have 5 of them. None are of anyone name but my daughters. Either a family member or your own name is okay but never a guys.

ehh i wouldnot do that ...maybe you could write something like " baby im yours " so if you breakup...it can be used on anoth guy and u dont need to just date guys with the initials m.v.

oh my Goodness, dont' do something so stupid, thats crazy, if you want to get a tattoo make sure it's something for yourself and not with a mans initials on your body unless they are your father or brother, well not even, don't get anything thats not worth having you will regret it later on if things don't work out at all, and even if they do work out you may regret it, but hey it's your body you do what you want, i have 3 tattoos and none of them are my husbands initials, and trust me i love him to death but nothing in this world would have me do soemthing dumb

Terrible idea. But it would be fun with a temporary tattoo-he'd still be surprised, and you don't risk living with it for the rest of your life...or having to change into something weird that hides the words.
