So he's smoked pot all his life, seriously. I met him like this. He's a sweet guy, love him. Together for over 15 yrs. The other day he walks by and says..."I think I'll stop smoking soon". Im scared. hes a demon when he doesnt smoke. He's pleasant and easy going after he gets his smoke on. Now I dont smoke yet it doesnt bother me that he does. Im afraid we'll argue more...

What do u think?

Maybe he'll ease up after he has stopped smoking for a while. If not you can try and talk to him maybe he's not aware of the way he acts. Also ask him why he's decided to stop now, be supportive and stuff. I know it's awful to like someone a lot more drugged up than sober, but it happened to me once too.

I've been smoking for 10 yrs now and i just went on a 3 month break, it is a ***** to begin with but after about a week the body gets used to not having thc so i personally calmed down. I would describe myself the same way you described him "demon when he doesn't smoke". If he is quitting just b/c of the smoke i can give you a good recipe to get weed butter and then you can cook w/ it

WOW, I thought it could/would happen to me!! When I quit getting high, I was amazed how much crapp went on rite under my nose!! But, I was hi, and just didn't notice/care!! Got clean, and some family said "they liked me better hi"! Now that's a good thing to tell someone try'n to go straight!! I was more irratated, because of the things they were pulling over on me, (w/wife) endorsing their behaviors!! Guess what, 14 yrs later, and I'm still st8ght, and I like them alot less too! But they don't take advantage of me(us) any more!!!

Relax,

He may have outgrown it. He will be an *** for a couple of days or two weeks at best if he really does stop. MJ has very little physical addiction but some mental addiction. Once he moves past it he will be the same guy. Just less munchies.

If you want him to live long, then LET HIM QUIT. It is the only healthy thing to do. And, besides, that's not his real personality. Don't be selfish and keep him smoking just for your sake. Let him do what's right for him...if you really truly love him like you say you do.
